Antique ironstone platter in good condition with a light and airy design of poppies with foliage and light gold details. The ends of the platter have unusual pie crust crimping.
Backstamp reads "Porcelain de Terre, John Edwards, England." Edwards produced ironstone between 1847-1900. This piece likely dates to last quarter of 19th century, based on transferware techniques used.
Light crazing on front. No chips, cracks or staining noted. Beautiful display piece.
DIMENSIONS - 14.5" long by 10.25" wide; weighs 3 lb.
