Antique Flow Blue 8.5” Plate Hong 1850

Available is a heavily decorated mid-19th century plate. The intricate chinoiserie scene in flow blue transfer is hand decorated with gilt, highlighting the pattern. 

The heavy thick ironstone indicates production in the mid 1800s. Backstamp reads "Hong, Anthony Shaw", with an additional impressed maker stamp. Shaw produced pottery in England between 1851-1900.

Crazing and light staining throughout. Some discoloration along the edges.
