Available is a beautiful antique ironstone soup tureen with lid and teal green blue transferware in an intricate floral pattern. This is a rare collectible piece of ironstone, as I have not been able to locate any other pieces in this pattern and color way online. It is a perfect addition to your ironstone collection, ready for even more years of display, use, and cherishing.
The backstamp reads 'Boquet Semi-Porcelain Mellor-Taylor & Co England.' Mellor Taylor & Co. were an earthenware manufacturer in England from 1880-1903; this narrows done the production of this piece to the late 1800s.
The tureen is a long oval shape and has two side handles and a lid. The lid handle has a repaired crack visible in photos. Crazing throughout. No other chips or cracks noted.
If you like this pattern, please check out my other ironstone pieces, as I have several other in this pattern - view ironstone products here.
