A beautiful antique plate that would be an unusual addition to your plate wall arrangement or displayed in a hutch. It is is unstamped by a maker but has all the hallmarks of a mid-1800s early English ironstone dinner plate.
The blue floral design is applied under the glaze. On top of the glaze is hand painted yellow and orange details. The color remains vibrant. There is a small amount of scratches and wear to the paint, appropriate for its age. The back has only a small hand painted number of '53', with an unglazed foot rim.
No chips or cracks. Moderate wear. Beautiful display piece.
DIMENSIONS - 9" diameter; weighs 1 lb. 1 oz.
