Vintage Chippy Aqua Blue Cabinet with 5 Drawers | Distressed Farmhouse Storage

 An amazing, one-of-a-kind storage cabinet with patina and character that only comes with age. This set of 5 drawers came from the estate of a retired flea market owner in southeast Kansas. The crazing and distressed paint will add a unique rustic charm to your farmhouse decor.

The cabinet has a wood frame holding 5 wood drawers. The top drawer has two wooden slats that formerly served as dividers. I have opted to leave these unattached, so you can decide whether to place them in the drawer for storing small items or leave the drawer as is.

As you can see in photos, the top three drawers are slightly more shallow than the bottom two larger drawers. Each drawer has a metal hardware pull that has been painted over to match the wood. The inside of the cabinet has been wiped clean. The back top right corner of the very top drawer has a small crack in the wood that does not seem to affect function.

The front, sides, and top of the cabinet was painted a soft aqua blue that has aged gracefully, with crazing and distressing noted throughout. The back of the cabinet is not painted and does not have a wood piece to keep the drawers from sliding out the back. However this also gives you a beautiful view of the dovetail joints used to construct each drawer, making this a statement piece from any side.

The size of this cabinet would make it a great storage item for an office, art room, or school room.
