Available is a cast metal sculpture replica of the Pioneer Woman statue, first created by Bryant Baker. The original is a large statue in Ponca City, Oklahoma, celebrating the spirit and strength of the early pioneer women who came to the state.

Baker was a British-born American sculptor. He won the competition to design the statue, which was erected in Ponca City, Oklahoma, in 1930.

These small table-top replicas were produced in the 1930s by the Jennings Brothers Manufacturing Company, a well-respected producer of small batches of hand-crafted metal art works.

This figure shows a woman in a sunbonnet, striding across the prairie with a child by her side. It represents the resilience and strength of the early woman who settled the state.

Overall good condition with light wear to the gilt on the metal (possibly spelter). Original velvet padding to the base. The inscription "Bryant Baker, 1927" found on back left corner of base. "JB 3355" found on back of base.

DIMENSIONS - 9" tall x 4" wide x 4" deep; weighs 2 lb. 8 oz.
