Vintage Pair of Hand Blown Swung Ruby Red Glass Vases with Ball Base

This is a beautiful pair of hand blown red glass vases; see the photo of the bottom of the vases showing the pontil scar, indicating the blowpipe used in making it. The pair would make a lovely statement in a glass collection on a shelf or mantlepiece.

There is no maker stamp visible. The rich ruby red hue is edged with deep yellow-orange at the mouth of the vase, which is pulled down in a slightly oval shape. The vases are set on a ball base on the bottom.

DIMENSIONS - The vase openings are 2" wide; the ball base is 3" wide; the vases are each approximately 9.5" high.
