Brass label fixed to base reads "Wolf Safety Lamp Co. of America, New York, NY".  Wolf Safety Co. began selling miner's lamps from New York in the early 1900s. 

Cylindrical shaped solid brass lamp with looped brass handle from the top. Unknown if lighting mechanism works; intended for decorative use only.
