Antique 8 Point Stars in Garden Maze Quilt, c1910

Available is a beautiful pink and tan antique quilt with stars in blue and tan fabrics. It has lovely drape and softness, and is the perfect addition to a vintage farmhouse inspired home.

MATERIALS 

The quilt features thirty 8-point stars made of a mix of blue, tan and green striped, checked and solid cotton fabrics. These are set in white fabric, with a Garden Maze sashing in light tan. The alternate blocks are a light pink color. It is hand quilted in white thread in a fan pattern. The binding is light pink and machine finished. Backing is white muslin. Medium weight cotton batting.

CONDITION

Overall good antique condition. There is scattered surface wear along the edges of the quilt with some fabric thinning and exposed batting. One corner has a through hole. It has been gently hand washed and air dried.

AGE

Exact age unknown. Based on fabrics used and quilting techniques, estimated age is circa 1910. Found in Kansas.
