Antique Heavy Ironstone 16" Roast Platter by J & G Meakin, c1890

Antique ironstone platter in good condition by J & G Meakin.

Scattered grey marks on the front of the platter. Light discoloration on glazing pits on backside. No crazing, chips or cracks.

Back stamp is in vibrant black and reads "Ironstone China J&G Meakin Hanley England" with the lion and unicorn crest in between. Dates this piece to 1890 onward.

DIMENSIONS  - 16" long by 11.5" wide; weighs 3 lb. 9 oz.
