Antique Dark Flow Blue Transferware 9" Ironstone Plate | Montezuma by J. Goodwin, c1850

Available is an early stained crazed antique ironstone plate with lovely transferware chinoiserie design. The transfer color sits between flow blue and mulberry, with a strong dark blue undertone.

Back of plate is stamped "Montezuma, J. Goodwin, Longton", indicating production by John Goodwin, in Longton, Staffordshire, England, c1841-1851.

Overall good antique condition, with crazing and staining throughout. Light scratching to the surface and erosion to glazing pits. See photos.
