Vintage Rose Wreath Cream and Red Applique Quilt

A lovely, soft quilt with delicate quilting and warm colors - perfect for repurposing or decor

MATERIALS

The quilt is a rose wreath applique design, with 16 patches of 4 hand appliqued red flowers set on a light cream floral wreath. Single line grid quilting in sashing, with triple line quilting across the applique blocks, and twisted cable quilting in the borders. Set on white fabric. White backing. Lightweight cotton batting. Bound back to front.

CONDITION

Fair vintage condition. Washed by previous owner. Fabric thinning and loss to most of the cream fabrics. Several brown stains scattered on front of quilt. Small holes to front of quilt. Please see photos.

AGE

Exact age unknown. Likely made circa 1930 based on fabrics used. Found in Missouri.

Measures 78" x 77".
