Vintage Apollinaris French Porcelain Match Striker

Available is a charming vintage porcelain match striker. Dating from the 1920s, this "Apollinaris" advertised a German mineral water sold in cafes and bistros. You can add a touch of Parisian cafe culture to your home with this small piece of history.

Overall good vintage condition. Some light staining on the strike plate and wear to the lettering at the base. Blue bands remain strong. A previous owner has attached a match strike paper to the bottom of the base, in case the original striker doesn't do the trick. Perfect as shelf decor or holding matches for your favorite candle.
