Vintage Blue and White Embroidered Crib Quilt

A very sweet crib quilt, this is the perfect gift for your next baby shower or new little loved one.

MATERIALS

The quilt has 12 blocks of blue embroidered nursery animals sitting in baskets with flowers around them. Embroidery is done on white fabric, with blue sashing. Hand quilted in hanging diamond grids in white thread, with ivy motif in sashing. 

Pie wedge border has additional quilting motifs. Bound in white fabric. Backing is solid white cotton. Lightweight polyester batting.

CONDITION

Excellent vintage condition. The quilt has been carefully hand washed and air dried.

Not dated. Estimated date of production circa 1950 based on fabrics used.

Measures 54" x 31".
