Antique German Blue Onion Ceramic Canister for Powder Sugar, c1900

Gorgeous blue and white ceramic canister, in excellent antique condition. Stamp on base reads "GMT & Bro, Germany, 3985", indicating production date between 1887-1914. 

Vibrant blue floral pattern on the outside with borders, between which reads "Powder Sugar" in stenciled black script.

Light crazing and staining. No lid. Small nick in glaze in opening rim.

DIMENSIONS - 6" tall x 4.5" wide; weighs 1 lb. 4 oz.
