Vintage Blue & White Pinwheel Touching Stars Quilt, c1920

Available is a classic blue and white quilt in a dynamic pattern. This is the perfect two-tone quilt for your vintage inspired home.

MATERIALS 

The quilt is constructed in a pinwheel variation similar to Touching Stars, with a large central pinwheel in white surrounded by small piecing of blue indigo fabric with tiny white stars. It is hand quilted in a linked chain pattern in white thread. Machine bound in white fabric. White backing. Lightweight cotton batting.

CONDITION

Very good vintage condition. Light discoloration in lower right quadrant. Light tanning along top edge. Light binding wear along one edge. It has been carefully hand washed and air dried.

AGE

Exact age unknown. Based on fabrics and techniques, estimated date is c1920. Found in Kansas.
