Vintage Double Pink Snail Trail Twin Quilt

A well worn vintage quilt in beautiful shades of pink and white, this would be a great display piece in a feminine cottage-inspired home, or repurposed for sewing projects.

MATERIALS

The quilt is made in the Snail Trail pattern, also known as Indiana Puzzle or Monkey Wrench. The patches are made of double pink or cinnamon pink fabrics, set on white blocks with tiny black sprig. It is hand quilted and hand pieced. It has rounded corner and is machine bound with white fabric.

CONDITION

Fair vintage condition. It has scattered spots and stains on front and back and significant fading along the edges. Moderate wear to binding and some fabric thinning along the edges. A few spots of seam separation. It has been hand washed and air dried.

AGE

Exact age unknown. Likely made circa 1910s, based on fabrics and techniques used.

SIZE

Measures 86" x 73" - modern twin, or can be layered on a larger comforter if used on a larger bed. Note it was photographed on a king size bed.
