Vintage Scrappy Triple Irish Chain Quilt, c1930

This vibrant quilt is a dizzying array of prints and fabrics, perfect to add a pop of color to your collection.

MATERIALS

The quilt is not quite an Irish Chain and not quite a Postage Stamp, as the fabrics don't follow a specific colorway. There is a huge variety of scrappy prints and colors throughout, with florals, cutesy prints, and more. Hand quilted in white thread, with Maltese Cross designs in the white setting blocks. Red fabric binding. White backing. Lightweight cotton batting. 

CONDITION

Good vintage condition. It has been carefully hand washed and air dried. There is a large amount of yellowing that did not come out of the quilt with washing. Some blue dye run noted on the back. No other major damage noted. Please review all photos.

AGE

Exact age unknown. Likely made circa 1930 based on fabrics used. Found in Missouri.

Measures 84" x 72".
