Vintage Pastel Rainbow Lone Star Quilt

Available is a stunning, densely quilted Lone Star in a pastel rainbow. This showstopper is expertly made and is a beautiful display piece.

MATERIALS

The quilt is in the Lone Star pattern, with radiating solid colors in pastel tones. Mix of hand and machine piecing. Set in white fabric. Hand quilted in white thread in echo quilting in the patches and feather wreaths in the alternate blocks. Intricate floral motifs hand quilted in each corner. Triple border of pink, white and green along edge, with mint green binding. Lightweight cotton batting. Solid white backing.

CONDITION

Very good vintage condition. Small brown mark remains after washing. One small hole to top, easily repairable (smaller than size of a dime). It has been carefully hand washed and air dried.

AGE

Exact age unknown. Estimated c1930, based on fabrics and techniques used. Found in Kansas.
