Vintage Pink and Cream Double Irish Chain Quilt, c1930

Lovely lightweight quilt in generous size, perfect for layering or using in a spring-inspired bedroom.

MATERIALS

Quilt is constructed in the Double Irish Chain pattern, with alternating blocks of solid off-white cream and dark pink cotton squares. Attractive flowers are hand quilted in the alternate blocks, with parallel rows of quilting lines across the patchwork. Triple bar border of pink and cream fabrics, with vines quilted in the pink and parallel triple lines in the cream fabrics. Backing is cream colored. Hand bound with matching pink fabric. Lightweight thin cotton batting. 

CONDITION

Overall good vintage condition. A few small areas of faint water stains. Fabric is tight and intact. Please review photos. It has been carefully hand washed and air dried.
