Vintage Pink and Green Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilt

A beautiful vintage quilt in a classic pattern, it is in excellent condition and ready for use on your bed. The sweet colorway would be a lovely addition to your cottage style bedroom or young girl's room decor.

MATERIALS

Quilt is in the class Grandmother's Flower Garden hexagon pattern, with central yellow patches. The border is two layers of patterned fabric, pink fabric, and green binding. Backing is solid pink. Lovely mix of cutesy prints and Depression-era prints in fussy cut patches. Lightweight cotton batting. Hand pieced and hand quilted.

CONDITION

Excellent vintage condition. Very little wear or staining noted. It has been gently hand washed and air dried.

AGE

Exact age unknown. Likely made circa 1930s, based on fabrics and techniques used.

SIZE

Measures 88" x 76" - modern twin, or can be layered on a larger comforter if used on a larger bed. Note it was photographed on a king size bed.
