This cutter-grade quilt has a wonderful variety of turn of the century fabrics. It is a great addition to your farmhouse living room decor as an accent blanket, or it can be easily repurposed in a crafting project! It is a handmade antique quilt.

Look for the UFO and puppy prints! The quilt is made in a strip pattern with chevron strips of various patterned fabrics, with sashes made of double pink calico. The chevrons are made of purple prints, bright overlay on black, shirting prints, mourning prints, indigo and cadet blue, floral calico, burgundy, and homespun plaid. The backing is a small black print on white ground. The batting is medium weight cotton. It is bound back to front with the backing fabric and machine finished. There is hand quilting present, and the quilt has also been machine quilted, perhaps at a later date to reinforce or repair fabric loss. Both are done with white thread.

Based on quilting, pattern, and colors, this is estimated to be made circa 1910.

It has been hand washed and air dried. There are multiple squares with fabric thinning, loss, and exposed batting. Staining noted along the edges, and a few scattered spots.

Measures 76" x 62"; would fit a modern twin bed, or can be used as an accent bedding.

Despite the wear and tear, this quilt has plenty of usable vintage fabric for crafting projects, or it can easily be folded and stacked as a display or set on the foot of a bed to add authentic farmhouse charm and coziness.

This is a vintage item with normal wear and tear due to its age. Review photos and descriptions carefully. I have made every effort to accurately describe these items. Message me with any questions you have before making a purchase. Props not included with listing.
