Vintage Purple Double Wedding Ring Quilt | Small Twin Size Feedsack Fabrics

This cuddly-soft vintage quilt is made in a classic pattern, in colors perfect for spring decor or in a girl's bedroom. 

MATERIALS

The quilt is made in the Double Wedding Ring pattern, with setting fabrics of solid purple. The ring patches are made of a wide variety of feed sack fabrics and small scale prints. The  muslin backing is white. The binding is a variety of red printed fabrics, with both prints and stripes present. Lightweight cotton batting. Hand quilted, hand pieced.

CONDITION

Good vintage condition. Scattered staining on the backing along the edges and fabric thinning on some patches. Mild wear to binding. It has been hand washed and air dried.

AGE

Exact age unknown. Likely made circa 1930s, based on fabrics and techniques used.

SIZE

Measures 82" x 64" - modern twin, or can be layered on a larger comforter if used on a larger bed. Note it was photographed on a king size bed.
