Vintage Rainbow Broken Star Quilt, c1960

Available is a beautiful vintage quilt in a generous size and lovely colorway.

MATERIALS

The quilt is constructed in the Broken Star pattern, with a central star in radiating colors surrounded by echoes of starbursts. White setting fabric. Bound in white fabric with white backing. Bordered in mint green triangles with 8 point stars in each corner. Lightweight polyester batting. Hand quilted in echo quilting in the diamonds and grid quilting in the setting blocks. 

CONDITION

Very good vintage condition. A few small storage stains. Fabric is tight and intact. Some fading noted in colored fabrics on top of quilt. It has been carefully hand washed and air dried.

AGE

Exact age and maker unknown. Based on fabrics and techniques used, estimated date c1960. Found in Missouri.

SIZE - 96” x 94”. Shown on full size bed.
