Vintage Red and White "The X Quisite" Quilt

Available is a stunning red and white quilt in graphic stripes and piecing. This candy cane-like quilt is perfect for Christmas decor or to add that coveted "pop of red" to your decor.

MATERIALS

The quilt is made in "The X Quisite" pattern, with blocks of three pieces set in diagonal stripes, pieced in a criss cross pattern. The red and white striped fabric has a ribbed texture like twill, and is set in white blocks. Hand quilted in white thread throughout, with white backing and binding, and lightweight batting.

CONDITION

Good vintage condition. Some water staining visible in lower third of quilt, more noticeable in the back. A few storage stains in front. It has been carefully hand washed and air dried.

AGE

Exact age unknown. Estimated circa 1950 based on fabrics and techniques. Found in Missouri.
