Vintage Red and Yellow Rosebud Turkey Track Variation Twin Quilt, 66" x 81"

This is a wonderful vintage quilt in bright fall colors, ready for use! The pattern is similar to Turkey Tracks or Rosebud. For Kansas City Chiefs fans, this would also be a subtle nod during football season towards a favorite team.

MATERIALS 

The patchwork is made of red and yellow fabrics set in a rosebud pattern, with white setting blocks. It is bound in matching red fabric and finished by machine. There is a mix of machine and hand piecing visible, and it is hand quilted with white thread at 5-6 stitches per inch. Feather wreaths are hand quilted in the alternate blocks. The backing is solid white, and the batting is lightweight - possibly polyester.

CONDITION 

The quilt has been hand washed and air dried. There is one quarter sized light stain on the front. There is some seam separation at the binding and uneven stitching.

AGE

Exact age unknown. Based on fabrics and quilting, this quilt is estimated to have been made circa 1950.

SIZE 

81" x 66" - perfect for a child size bed, or folded on the foot as an accent blanket.
