Vintage Redwork Nursery Rhyme Crib Quilt, c1920

Available is an adorable small crib quilt with redwork embroidery blocks. This makes the perfect baby shower gift or nursery decor.

MATERIALS

The quilt has 12 redwork embroidery blocks, each showing a different month, season, or childhood scene. Please note that not all blocks are oriented the same way. These are set in double pink calico fabric. Lightweight cotton batting. Bound in matching double pink fabric. Hand quilted in white thread in zig zag patterns across blocks with cable pattern in the setting.

CONDITION

Very good vintage condition. It has been hand washed and air dried. No major damage noted.

Exact age unknown. Estimated date based on fabrics and techniques c1920. Found in Missouri.
