Vintage Repogle Black Ocean Globe on Ship's Anchor Base, c1940

Available is a hard-to-find Repogle Globe with black ocean on a metal ship's anchor. This globe dates to c1940, based on the political borders shown, with Palestine in the Middle East.

Globe is in excellent condition, with little wear. The globe is a little loose on its base and does not spin freely (see video). The base is in the shape of a ship's anchor, an unusual design.

Label reads "10" Standard Globe, made by Repogle Globes, Chicago, Illinois."

SIZE - Measures 10" diameter globe; stands approx. 12" high, base is 7.5" x 4". Weighs 1 lb. 10 oz.
