Vintage Signed Dated Nine Patch Quilt | Cutter Stacker Picnic Blanket

Available is a well worn multicolored quilt with a date and signature. The bright fabric prints used makes this a great blanket for a child's room or as a picnic blanket. 

MATERIALS

The quilt is machine quilted. The pattern is a dense mix of nine square patches on point with triangle setting blocks. It has the name "Trexel" and "Sept. 20 '51" embroidered in one patch. It is bound back to front and has a blue floral printed background. Lightweight polyester batting.

CONDITION

Fair vintage condition. Binding is worn and faded. Several squares with seam separation and one black mark near the binding. 

AGE

Signed "Trexel" and "Sept. 20 '51" in one corner, dating this quilt to 1951.

SIZE

Measures 76" x 65". Note it was photographed on a king size bed.
