Vintage Yellow and White Crown of Thorns Quilt

Available is an expertly handmade quilt in solid tones, ready for use and display.

MATERIALS

The quilt is in the Crown of Thorns pattern, with patches made of solid yellow cotton set in white fabric. Hand quilted in white thread in diamond grid across blocks and in cables in the sashing. Solid yellow border; hand bound in matching yellow fabric. Backing is solid white. Lightweight cotton batting.

CONDITION

Excellent vintage condition. A few small marks on front and back. Fabric is tight and intact. Appears to have been recently washed by previous owner.

AGE

Exact age unknown. Estimated c1930, based on fabrics and techniques used. Found in Oklahoma.
