Vintage Yellow Field of Diamonds Quilt, c1930

Available is a lightweight quilt perfect for every day use or repurposing as a cutter quilt in your next sewing project.

MATERIALS

The quilt is made in the Field of Diamonds pattern, with hexagons set in a diamond pattern in a grid of yellow fabric. Patches have a variety of bright solid and printed fabrics, with white alternate blocks. Bound back to front, with white backing. Hand quilted. Lightweight cotton batting.

CONDITION

Fair vintage condition. Some areas of fabric thinning on top. There are large areas of light gray discoloration, where perhaps a stain was removed. Batting has some thinning and shifting. It has been carefully washed and air dried. Please review all photos.

Exact age unknown. Estimated c1930 based on fabrics and techniques used. Found in Kansas.
