Vintage Yellow Green and Pink Tulip Quilt, c1930

A vibrant vintage quilt with showstopper colors, this is a fabulous piece to repurpose in your latest creative project.

MATERIALS

The quilt is in a simple Tulip block pattern, with pink petals, green base set in a block of 4 patches with white setting fabric. Alternate and sashing fabrics is a very bright yellow. Simple, naive hand quilting in white thread in Baptist fan pattern. White backing. Yellow binding. Batting is thin flannel sheets, not the usual cotton or polyester batting (see photos of holes for example).

CONDITION

Fair vintage condition. It has not been washed, due to concerns for dye run. Frayed binding throughout. Some seam separation and fabric tears in front and back. Yellow areas on backing. Please review all photos.

AGE

Exact age unknown. Likely circa 1930 based on fabrics used. Found in Kansas.

Measures 76" x 62".
